Thanks for including Life Of The Freelancer in your podcast list. One thing I want readers here to know is that each week we have two interviews with highly successful freelancers – people that have been doing it for years. The lessons that are shared are extremely valuable for anyone running their own business. I’ve also been fortunate to interview great people like Chris Brogan, Jim Kukral, Johnny B. Truant, and Pam Slim.

Great list, thank you! I’ve only listened to a few podcasts in the past but I will really have to check these out. I’m usually listening to music all day but I will have to start listening to these too. Thanks again for the great reference!

Freelancers might also be interested in a podcast I produce, The Wide Teams Podcast. It deals with working remotely as part of dispersed teams. Many of the people I interview are freelancers, and the freedom to work from home, coffee shops, or while traveling is a big part of why they freelance.

Thanks so much for this list! I love listening to podcasts more than I like listening to music. I find it is a great way to learn while you’re doing other things like housework or going for a walk. I haven’t found a lot of podcasts that I really get hooked on so I’m always looking for something with quality and engagement. Will be checking all of these out for sure!

Thanks a lot for that post, really. I’ve been looking around for good podcasts for quite some time, so those come in at the perfect time.
Making use of Podcasts is a big asset, especially if you travel a lot, since the time used for travelling is not entirely “lost”, but rather used for learning new skills or gaining insights from others. Great!

Freelance Radio (#7 in the list) is now defunct. It was a great podcast, but for reasons that weren’t really explained, the hosts signed off for the last time in July 2010.
