Hi folks, thanks a lot!
So we all work a little on week-ends I guess? :)
There's one thing to remember though, and I'm trying to put that into practice "take Sundays off, work will still be there tomorrow", working ok so far.

I think that a lot of freelancers in the early days have regular jobs and write around them, so that probably means a lot of evening and weekend work. Some writing gigs require it, too; for instance, when I was doing a lot of newspaper writing there were often weekend events to cover. Now that I have more control over my schedule, I try to work as little as possible on the weekends, but sometimes it's hard not to write. Sometimes I don't mind a bit when my daughter goes off to the park with her friends for an hour or two and I can bang out a couple of thousand words of my novel on a Saturday afternoon....

Funny, I was working and took a break to check emails when I saw this post. I work a little on weekends -- I don't mind as I know it makes it possible for me to do more with my kids during the week. But this weekend, they went to Grandma and Grandpa's with hubby so I could catch up as it's been an eventful week beginning with one trip to the ER to get four stitches (no worries -- I'm great).

The clients all decided to respond at once, too. It happens and I can't complain! :)

Wow, some great links in there! I especially like the Mind Petals blog.

I actually do most of my writing on weekends when I'm not doing blog consulting work for clients. I set the post dates to occur throughout the upcoming week..

Hey Jon,
I got excited about the link and forgot to answer your question in my comment. I almost always work a good bit on the weekends. It helps me to get prepared for the upcoming week.
