Twitter For FreelancersI opened my Twitter account about 2 years ago and honestly, I used to see it as a real time-waster and I’m sure many of you still see it as the ultimate productivity killer. I know… how can Twitter be of any use to freelancers? It’s just something made to waste some time online, right?

Wrong!

Sure you can spend hours on Twitter! But I find it’s totally worth it! I started using Twitter more actively only 6 months ago and believe it or not, Twitter is now one of my best referral source! After words of mouth of course! :)

Hi Adelle, can you please tell our readers a little about yourself, where you’re from, what you do?

Adelle: I am 28 and am currently the Art Director for the CBS & FOX affiliates here in Rochester, New York. I have been working in the Broadcast field for just over 5 years now but I started out working for an Ad agency in this area doing mostly print /web work right out of college. I also taught Graphic Design for a few semesters at a local college in Rochester. I also do some freelancing at night and on the weekends. I have known most of my freelance clients for a while or I have met them through interviews or referrals.
