The Unlimited Freelancer Affilliate Program

If you’re reading this page it probably means that you’re interested in becoming a FreelanceFolder affiliate, and you want to help promote the new Unlimited Freelancer book — that’s awesome. We put a ton of effort into this, and I want you to know that we seriously appreciate it.
Before we get into the program details, I have two quick suggestions to make.
We highly recommend that you read the book before joining the program. There are way too many spammy affiliate programs out there, and it will be hard to give an honest recommendation without having read the book. Not to mention, you’ll probably sell many more copies if you can speak sincerely about the it.
The second suggestion is that you think carefully about your audience before promoting the book to them. For many audiences, this book is a perfect fit and will go over wonderfully. You’ll make some money, your visitors will get a great resource, and you’ll help support FreelanceFolder. If your site has nothing to do with freelancing, though, it might not work out so well. So, all we ask is that you think about it :-)
Okay, let’s get to the details.
Affiliate Program Details
The affiliate commission is 33%. On a sale price of $29, that’s about 10 bucks a book. We will be offering discounts periodically, but the bulk are going to be sold for $29.
The affiliate program is handled via E-junkie. Chances are you might have an account with them already, and if you don’t it’s pretty simple to register (details below).
Affiliate payments are made on a monthly basis using PayPal. We actually send them ourselves, so if you think anything is mixed up you can just email us.
How To Sign Up
Signing up for the program is pretty easy. Here’s how:
- Go to www.e-junkie.com and register for an account.
- Click this link for the FreelanceFolder.com Affiliate Program
- Add the FreelanceFolder affiliate program to your account.
- Go into your Affiliate Admin and click “Get Affiliate Code”
- Select FreelanceFolder.com and click “Get Affiliate Code” again
- You’re good to go :-) Use that link when you send people to the site and you’ll get 33% commission on every sale.
If you have any trouble or questions about this please feel free to email.
How To Get More Sales
There are a bunch of different ways to promote the book, and since you know your audience best, you’ll have to pick the methods you think will work well on your site. Here’s are some of our recommendations:
- Mention the book on your website. This tends to work well if you have a large audience who will like the book.
- Mention the book on twitter. This works if you have something specific to say, otherwise it doesn’t usually sell too many.
- Review the book on your website. Reviews convert the best over the long-term. These are highly recommended, and the more honesty and detail the better.
- Place a banner on your website. Banners convert pretty well on their own, and they are a great compliment a review or a mention.
You obviously might not want to do all of these (or even most of them), so you have to consider your audience and your site before deciding.
Banners and Stuff
Okay, now the fun part. We only have a few of the banners right now, and some of them might change in the next week or two, but you’re welcome to anything we have. If you need a special size, please email and I’ll be happy to whip it up for you.
