This is a great roundup of both the signs of negative self-talk, and how to overcome them, Laura. It’s extremely frustrating when encountering negativity because not only is it almost always unreasonable (and thus very difficult to reason with), but it tends to feeds on itself.

Micah – “I wonder sometimes when and whether it’d be better for me to have a regular job…” : if you didn’t ask that question, you wouldn’t be normal! From what I’ve heard EVERYone in business for themselves asks that regularly. There’s nothing wrong with a regular self-check, but if you remember why you did it in the first place, you’ll stay where you are. Hang a picture of Maggie Simpson on the wall :-)

bullying should be defined properly and sensitization of students, teachers, parents should be done.
