Blog Action Day – October 15
Posted September 21, 2007 in News
On October 15, we’ll be joining fellow bloggers and write about the environment.
Over 5,500 blogs have already registered, which means over 3.7 million people will hear/read about Blog Action Day (and certainly more than that as Reddit, My.Opera and Pixnet have decided to join B.A.D., meaning massive exposure).
I actually registered FreelanceFolder a while ago but haven’t had time to write about it. You know, freelancers are busy sometimes. :)
If you run a blog, check out Blog Action Day (and check out the B.A.D. blog too), register your blog, and post about the environment on October 15. For me, “being aware” isn’t enough, you actually have to “do something“, so I’ll try to give some practical tips in that post, and of course it doesn’t stop there, there will definitely be some more posts about that.
I know for some of us bloggers, posting about the environment may mean going a little off-topic, but honestly there are hundreds of ways you can write about the environment and still stay on topic.
For example, the post I wrote about the paperless office not so long ago would have been a great fit for this project. No matter what topic your blog covers, a little creativity and imagination can go a long way!
Oh, and the folks at Blog Action Day also made a nice video to promote the event, here it is.
