I object to the comment about the “free work scam”. I have a site where I have revenue sharing and it is not a scam. I put 50% of the site revenue into a pool and this is shared to my writers based on a set criteria.

We need to evolve the concept of search marketing revenue sharing. Why not have SEOs and SEMs team up with small business owners on a revenue sharing basis more often? I suspect the reason is that it’s complicated, and will take time for good revenue sharing models to develop.

The most difficult part for me when it comes to revenue-sharing is the promotion. I can get thoroughly immersed in writing the material etc. but the time spent promoting can be tough.
