Free Report: Why Some Freelancers Thrive and Others Barely Survive
Posted January 5, 2009 in Business, Tools/Resources 15 Comments »
Most of you know that freelancing can be an up-or-down business. Some people do really well from the start, and others, unfortunately, struggle for years before reaching their goals.
So what’s the difference between the successful freelancers and the unsuccessful ones? What makes one business work while another can’t keep up?
Those are the answers we’ve put together in this free report, along with other information about how you can place yourself solidly in the group that’s destined for success.
Download The Report
As many of you know, FreelanceFolder is about to launch a new book for freelancers. We’ve been slaving away for the past several months, and thankfully we’re almost finished :-)
This free report is sort of a prequel to the full book. It is the starting point and ideas that influenced us to write the book in the first place.
In order to download the report, you need to sign up for our Unlimited Freelancer notification list (below) — where you’ll also receive more information about the book and maybe even some discounts before we launch.
If you only want the report, and nothing to do with the book, you can unsubscribe as soon as you confirm your email address and receive the report in your email. Personally, though, I’d recommend staying on the list :-)
If you’re already on the notification list, then there’s no need to sign up again. We sent the report to you just a few minutes ago :-)

January 5th, 2009 at 3:32 pm@HVYWGHT — Thanks for the enthusiasm, I think you’ll be really happy with the book!
I sent the report out about 30 minutes ago, but it sometimes takes a bit to send to everyone on the list. You should probably be getting it within the next few minutes. If you don’t get it soon, send me a message using the site contact form and I’ll look into it.
Thanks!
– Mason

January 6th, 2009 at 10:41 amHey Everyone, I just found out that a few people received the report and page 15 was blank… It is NOT supposed to be that way :-)
If you have a copy like that just shoot me an email and I’ll send the proper version. I think it is working for most people, though.
Cheers,
– Mason

January 6th, 2009 at 3:35 pmMason, thank you for this. I’m just starting up my freelance business and got a lot of self esteem out of the document you sent me. It seems like I should be thriving in no time…

January 6th, 2009 at 3:55 pmHey Petra,
I wouldn’t promise you’ll be thriving in no time, it can be quite a bit more difficult than that :-)
I’m glad the report gave you confidence though. Success isn’t a miracle, and it’s not luck either — if you work hard doing the right things you’ll get there.

January 6th, 2009 at 4:15 pmOf course you can’t promise me that. It would be amazing if you could. But still, I am willing to work hard and have the right skills, so the basis is good.
