What a nice piece of interview. And the funny part is that even if Adrian and I are both designers, both activated on the same romanian communities, we’ve met through our international blogs.
There you go! One more reason to build a blog, you could get to know your neighbor. :)

Jon, thanks again for the opportunity you gave me. This is how I see this interview.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I’m always happy when freelancer just starting out approach me with questions. I don’t pretend to have the absolute wisdom, but I’m always happy to share a few tips. Especially since they come from personal experience.

Like Susie pointed out, we all have questions at some point, we all make mistakes, but luckily there’s this great place called the Internet, which makes exchanging information so much easier. So it’s only natural to pass that knowledge to the new wave of freelancers (not that I’m too old or anything). :)

And yes, living in Romania has it’s pros and cons when it comes to freelancing.

Totally agree with the “Don’t underestimate, undersell or underprice your services” quote. It’s also interesting to hear the international perspective he offers. I can imagine how at times the fact that he’s in Romania can be a deturrent for companies with no experience with tele-commuting on skype and whatnot.
