definitely right on the money. we need to at some time of our biz to outsource it. it is the only way to grow our biz faster.

but outsourcing do require knowledge. so until you you get those knowledge do it yourself first.

about that quiting 9-5 jobs and went to 12-14 hours work, i believe we all do that because we just love and enjoy with our works. for me sometime i just forget what day is it.

has been online for a year now but still don't feel tired or bored working sometime 16 hours a day continuously even on sunday. it got to be the strong desire to succeed make we all can go through all of this.

The 4 Hour Workweek was such an eye-opener for me... It made me realized that I was spending way too much time handling boring details and not enough time on what Chicago Web Design calls "the creative and fun stuff."

As entrepreneurs, we love the big picture creative stuff but can work ourselves right into a 7-7 job if we're not careful and aware. What a sad fate for the vibrant and creative entrepreneur!

As a result I began outsourcing a bit more and it's been very liberating. I still have more things to let go of but can visualize the end goal now.

I read a lot, but this book really turned my world upside down in a GOOD way. Made me rethink everything... I recommend it to anyone who is willing to take back the control of their own life.

Tim's book is great. I immediately decided to get a virtual assistant to help me with my time consuming mundane tasks. I have been somewhat successful at this. I also tried outsourcing some of my not-so-creative-but-had-to-be-done work but was not too pleased with the results. I definitely want to free up my time to do more of the creative and fun stuff.

Hi Dan, I think you're right on the money, there are a lot of things I would really like to outsource, investment, bookkeeping and payroll.

The things I would like to focus more on would really be the more creative tasks: designing a website, composing a new song, writing.

One thing though, there are some things you cannot outsource (or maybe I should say, things I do would not want to outsource), things like shopping, groceries, phone calls to my parents, to my girlfriend, those I can take care of :)

Everything else (except the creative things), I wouldn't mind at all having an assistant that would take care of my stuff for me. :)

You've hit on a big secret Jon, one that is growing in popularity as people realize just how precious and valuable their time is.

Many people outsource already; ie... they pay a neighborhood boy to cut their grass. We pay to have our cars washed, our house cleaned, etc...

How about our investment strategies, our bookkeeping, our payroll, our benefits and so on?

How about outsourcing copywriting, editing, web development, product packaging, graphic design, even selling!

As our business grows, we can even hire a manager to run that company while we start another!

Once we are freed of the mundane tasks, or those we simply do not wish to do ourselves, we can concentrate on utilizing our time and energy for creative work. That is a secret strategy of many millionaires who appear to be able to get so much accomplished!
