New from MediaLoot: Incredibly Detailed Free Icon Set

I know some of you might be getting tired of seeing MediaLoot announcements on FreelanceFolder, but a free icon set is way to useful to pass up, right?

With the launch just weeks away, these 30 free icons are some of the most impressive resources we’ll be releasing outside of the paid membership. The icons come packaged as 128px transparent PNG files, and should be really useful for just about anyone right out of the box.

    Years ago when I worked for AOL as a graphics provider a young man provided a set of icons called INCREDIBLE ICONS alas, they are no longer available, but were very detailed images of everything from pieces of fruit, typewriters, cars, refrigerators and some humorous renditions of trash cans. These newer icons represent a new generation. Thank you for the link.

    Love the icon set, always in need of design resources, and they certainly help to speed the design process up when it comes to designing for web.

    There are those designers that really talk down about icons, I for one LOVE icons and thing they are a great way to fill in the mundane whiteness of a website.
