I've definitely been here lately. I managed to get an insanely high-paying freelance job recently - so much that there was just no way to turn it down. Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice three solid weeks of good sleep to get things done while still keeping up the day job.

Your tips are definitely sound, though. By cutting out the non-essentials, I was able to make it through the insane patch.

I find it fascinating that everytime I'm doubting myself and my abilities, I find an article on your blog that resonates with what I'm struggling with at the time.

I woke up today wondering what's wrong with the direction I'm taking and realized that I am taking on too much and seeing very little in return. I guess we know when we're spreading ourselves too thin. It's a matter of whether we decide to make changes so that we're more efficient with our time.

Thanks for the post. It made my Friday. I think I needed to hear it from a total stranger since I seem to ignore it from my friends.

"Analyze Your Situation" - I'm going to make this a priority this weekend.

I like your point "Eliminate Things That Do Not Generate Results":

This is usually the best starting point to become more productive. The trick is not to squeeze the last percentage out of your day, but to ensure you focus on the important areas and you allocate enough time to them.

I thought I was doing a good job of managing my time and then I got sick and everything feel apart for a few days.

Thanks for these tips and especially the focus on results.
