I left the UK in December, spent a few weeks in Brazil and the rest of the time I've spent travelling through Argentina. So far I've had few connection issues but I've been in the main built up areas. I'm writing this from a small town on the Argentinian/Bolivian border (it's like something straight out of a spaghetti western) and this is the first place I've had any real difficulties, with the connection being slow and sometimes the whole town will go offline for a few hours. Some tips... pick up a lengthy internet cable before you go. Get a lappy with as long a battery life as possible (i've got a acer 4810t and I have no complaints so far - i've been tapping into peoples unsecured wifis all over the place *whistles in the corner*). Lets see what Bolivia has in store! I'm expecting things to get less reliable... So now I've got an office, but at least it has a sea view, and the clients I've made along the way require my pressence so I get to travel a lot anyway,which has always been my ultimate inspiration.
